Dr. Jelena Vidić, full professor

Professor Vidić was born in 1974 in Šabac. She graduated from the University of Novi Sad Faculty of Law in 1998. She received her Magister of Law degree from the University of Novi Sad (“Forced Heirship in Domestic and Comparative Law“) in 2005. She defended her doctoral dissertation (“The Consequences of the Kinship, Marital and Extramarital Relationships on Inheritance“) at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law in 2010.

Fellowships and grants: Award of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for one of the best students in Serbia (2002); scholarship of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Serbia (2002).

Employment: law clerk at the Municipal Court in Novi Sad (2000-2001); The University of Novi Sad Faculty of Law (2001- ).

Areas of research and expertise: inheritance law, comparative inheritance law.

Languages: English and Russian.
