Dr. Petar Đundić, full professor

Professor Đundić was born in 1978 in Novi Sad. He graduated from the University of Novi Sad Faculty of Law in 2002. He received his Magister of Law degree from the University of Novi Sad (“International Jurisdiction and Applicable Law in Product Liability Disputes”) in 2007. He defended his doctoral dissertation (“Expropriation in Private International Law of Investments”) at the University of Novi Sad Faculty of Law in 2011.

Fellowships and grants: Fellow of the American Council on International Education (2007), Fellow of the Max Planck Association (2010).

Courses attended and/or visiting scholar: Summer School of Private International Law of the Hague Academy of International Law in the Netherlands (2005); Brooklyn Law School in New York, USA (2007); Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg, Germany (2010); Faculty of Law, Nova University of Lisbon, Portugal (2017).

Employment: The University of Novi Sad Faculty of Law (2003- ).

Areas of research and expertise: investment arbitration, protection of foreign investments, non-contractual liability in private international law.
